Meet New Additions to the Team!

My journey in the sports industry started in 2017 when I started working with Decathlon in Pune, India. My main motivation then was to remain connected to sports, especially football. Working there gave me a valuable introduction to the operational aspects of Sport business. This exposure motivated me to gain further experience, leading me to work with professional sports teams such as Football Club Pune City and Puneri Paltan. Driven by a strong desire to continue my growth in the global industry, I decided to pursue an MSc in International Sport & Event Management from Kedge Business School in France.

What motivated you to join our company and this particular team?

LaSource has a very strong position in the European Sports & Technology industry. After completing my MSc program, I sought a fast-paced agency experience. This is what I was seeking, and I was extremely excited to be presented with the opportunity, missions and the chance to follow an autonomous and proactive approach in my daily work routine.

What has driven you to work in the Sport and/or Technology industry?

Passion has always been a key factor in my journey thus far. Having started with Decathlon in India, I was always keen on working in the established sports industry in Europe. That, coupled with my newfound passion for technology and how it can be applied in the current sports ecosystem, makes LaSource a fitting place for me to grow.

What is the most important value you’ve taken away from your education?

I believe that education is more than just a classic classroom environment. It is having an open mindset to the overall experience and being curious about learning new skills. That was the biggest takeaway from the MSc program I pursued at KEDGE Business School, along with all the valuable knowledge I gained about Sports Business,

What team do you support / What's your favourite sport?

Football - FC Barcelona and my all-time favourite player is Andres Iniesta.

In Toronto, Canada, I began my career in the sports industry in 2017, progressing to Supervisor of the Fan Experience and Engagement team with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. I then began my time in the European market with Kedge Business School's MSc International Sports and Event Management, where I expanded my passion and knowledge of the sports business world.

What motivated you to join our company and this particular team?

My work was fan-forward in my North American career with MLSE and the Toronto Blue Jays, and I wanted to focus on branching out to a different sector and expand my European experience. I'm incredibly fortunate to find a great team focused on digital, technology and innovation.

What has driven you to work in the Sport and/or Technology industry?

Sports in a universal language. You don’t need to know the person beside you at a match or their language, but you feel connected to them. Sports make everyone part of a team.

What is the most important value you’ve taken away from your education?

The importance of valuing and cultivating connections from every point in your career path or educational journey.

What team do you support / What's your favourite sport?

Football: AC Milan; Hockey Team: Toronto Maple Leafs

Initially from an economic-academic path, my professional sports journey started at 18 across the Channel in a French sports-retail company. Following this superb experience, I finished my degree in Liverpool before moving to KEDGE Marseille for the International Sports and Event MSc program to learn the core of the sports business. Followed a short spell at the sports marketing agency Spring Media, where I was a marketing and production assistant and was introduced to Sports Media and Sports Tech.

What motivated you to join our company and this particular team?

The project they presented was exciting. I was motivated by the fact that I would be part of the construction of the whole consulting business unit. It's exciting not to be just taking the train on board but to be able to see the full process.

What has driven you to work in the Sport and/or Technology industry?

The fact that it's perpetually changing. You must keep yourself informed every day because the world is changing quickly. With the rise of technology and innovation, we get to see its impact on every aspect, including sports and entertainment.

What is the most important value you’ve taken away from your education?

First is how to establish connections within the industry. There's always a tie to be made in the sports industry. Everyone is connected. And second, would be diversification. It is important to be operational in multiple areas, including sponsorship, media and entertainment and understand different processes.

What team do you support/What's your favourite sport?

Football: Lille Olympique Sporting Club
