Startups updates: LiveLike partners with Jupiler Pro League, Move’s test with EA Sport, and more…

Summer is coming to an end, for some it was time to rest, while for others international competitions have paced their days. On our end, LiveLike, Greenfly, Slate, and Move have not ceased their activities, far from it, they have reinforced their strategic partnerships, developed new ones and integrated additional features. Let's dive into their main activities in August.

Jupiler Pro League integrated LiveLike solution in its platforms.

LiveLike is entering the Belgian football market, and not just with any organisation. The digital audience engagement startup has partnered with the Belgian football league to integrate its engagement tools in Jupiler Pro League’s platforms, starting with the Live Poll feature. In every match center, fans will be able to vote for the Man of the Match. The Belgium football league will progressively add new features to provide an interactive experience to its fans, before, during and after the game.

LiveLike also shared its summer product update with the integration of a new feature: Quest!

Quests are sets of tasks that users must complete in order to achieve a specific goal that may lead to the acquisition of a badge or a certain user status on the platform. This checklist of interactions is a fantastic way to give end users a more engaging, motivating experience as they work towards certain goals through Quests. Democratic National Committee (DNC) is using Greenfly to share content with party’s influencers

In the run-up to election season, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) built an online organizing hub to drive the party’s messaging beyond its own social channels. The hub creates a central online destination for influencers, surrogates, and supporters to receive party-sponsored talking points, messaging, and a wide variety of digital content to post on their own social media feeds.

Greenfly was selected as the main hub platform for hosting DNC content. Their partnership has dramatically increased the scale at which the party has been able to instantly push content to volunteer messengers, a powerful strategy for spreading the DNC's values on social. Such a case study illustrates how Greenfly's solution can be used far beyond the sports industry and emphasises the need for any organisation to use content distribution as a growth strategy.

Slate added photo and video adjustment tools to its solution

Once again, Slate's team has improved its application to streamline the workflow of social media managers.

Creating content on social media can involve a wide range of tools & filters, especially on Instagram where photos need to be impactful. But now, there’s no longer a need to use multiple apps to create amazing content as this latest feature will allow you to make quick adjustments all within the Slate app

On the other side of the Atlantic, each year, two MLB teams face off in the Field of Dreams game. During this year's game, Slate saw the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs give a masterclass on producing social content for a themed game.

Both teams were stacked with assets that helped to make their content feel unique, from filters featuring cornfield creative to fonts that further highlighted the nature of the game. One more example of how social teams can create impactful content with Slate on social networks without their design teams getting involved.

Move and Electronic Arts (EA), shared the way they're collaborating on the future of Markerless Motion Capture at ACM SIGGRAPH 2022

Move and Electronic Arts (EA) collaboration seems to be just the beginning, and the future looks so exciting for cinematic-grade motion capture. Both companies have shared a great keynote at ACM SIGGRAPH 2022, covering exact skeletal matching to actor profiles using artificial intelligence to optimise quality for the benchmarking tests between markerless and Optical motion capture. The video below shows their direct comparison between Move markerless technology and the current industry-leading optical motion capture system.

Today, EA is using Move’s solution to test optical motion capture accuracy in its skeleton animation production for video games. The two-way collaboration is also helping Move to keep improving its solution, thanks to the EA team's feedback on the tests performed.

Move brings motion capture into a new age with a more accessible and less expensive  solution for creators. We strongly invite you to explore how they are changing the game, as it represents the future of motion capture and opens up lots of opportunities.
