CONTENT PORTFOLIO
THE CONTENT FORMATS THAT WORK FOR SPORTS ORGANISATIONS
FORMATS YOUR ORGANISATION CAN IMPLEMENT TOMORROW
AN ACTIONABLE FOLLOW-UP TO OUR CONTENT FACTORY PLAYBOOK
Previously, we built the Content Factory Playbook, with the goal of giving sports organisations a guide on how they can monetise and scale their content, setting out a strategic and operational foundation. After this, we wanted to go further. To the next layer: what to actually put out there and post. Because sports organisations are never short of stories. The real challenge is turning those stories into content that reaches the right people and builds value. So this is why we built our Content Portfolio. A collection of formats sports organisations can implement in their day-to-day content operations. Every idea in the portfolio explains why it works and how to do it well, so organisations can replicate it in their own content.
Every format in the portfolio is drawn from real campaigns we have run. And none of it would exist without the organisations we work with. We are grateful for their trust, for the stories they let us tell, and for the chance to work alongside them.

FAQ ABOUT THE LASOURCE CONTENT PORTFOLIO
-
The Content Portfolio is a guide to the content formats that work for sports organisations, drawn from the campaigns LaSource runs with leagues, federations and clubs. Each format comes with what it is, why it works and how to produce it well.
-
The Content Factory Playbook sets the strategy and operating model for scaling and monetising content, and the Content Portfolio shows the formats to produce. Together they take a sports organisation from strategy through to execution.
-
The formats that perform are built around clear storylines, strong hooks, and data turned into narrative, tied to the moments fans already care about across the season. The LaSource Content Portfolio groups these into themes with examples from real campaigns.
-
Define a storylines that fans can follow across the season. Lead content with a hook in the first few seconds, and use results and stats to carry a story rather than report a number. The LaSource Content Portfolio sets out these formats with practical guidance for leagues, clubs and federations.

The LaSource Content Portfolio can be downloaded from the LaSource website. It is built for leagues, federations and clubs that want practical content formats they can use in their own operation.
