In March 2024, LiveLike joined forces with an advanced e-commerce platform, Venuetize. With the official partnership set to be announced later this week, the two sides started working together this NBA season with an undisclosed team, infusing minigames ahead of matchups in that team's app, followed by postgame leaderboards and prizes for fans with the highest scores.

Greenfly Announces $14 Million Funding Led by ADvantage, Empowering Global Expansion Across Sports and Entertainment:

Greenfly, one of our first clients, experienced the fastest period of growth in 2023 across the California-based company’s ten-year history. Having onboarded over forty partners globally, including multiple strategic hires in North America and the EMEA region, it's no surprise that Greenfly’s consistent upward trajectory has not gone unnoticed by parties willing to hop onto the short-form content train.

The $14M equity investment funding, which concluded recently, was led by sports tech investor ADvantage, with participation from Ryan Sports Ventures, Mercato Partners, and NBA Equity, apart from the existing investors who also contributed.

Most videos across the globe are consumed via short-form content. Effectively monetising this content is Greenfly’s forte and this funding will facilitate greater strategic partnerships, furthering the growth of the media management platform!

Brentford FC Collects UGC From Fans To Drive Membership Sales Campaign

In other news, Greenfly continues to deliver value for its clients, most notably with English Premier League club Brentford FC, which has driven membership sales led by user-generated content from fans.

Brentford FC’s ambition was to drive 2023-24 half-season membership sales in a campaign led more by the fans than by the club itself. As a result, the club’s content team collected video footage from fans in the stands that showcased the energy, emotion and intensity of a Brentford game. They planned to compile these clips into a fan-led, emotion-driven video to kick off the campaign, facilitated by Greenfly’s one-click content automation technology, which aggregated and compiled the UGC seamlessly.
